Big Night Out Band plays a wide variety of repertoire from the 60's, 70's, 80's, 90's to the present... from Gerry Lewis' "Great Balls of Fire" to Gloria Gaynor's "I Will Survive" to ABBA's "Dancing Queen" to ACDC's "You Shook Me All Night Long" to Rihanna's "Umbrella" to Amy Winehouse "Valerie" to "Lady Gaga's "Poker Face".
This group of professional musicians have received numerous accolades by event planners, high-end clients, and different age group audiences. Music is their passion and connecting with their audience is very fundamental to their making the people having a great time whether it's a big or a small event.
Big Night Out Band's lead female singers are the talented and soulful sisters, Luisa Marshall and Tota Mendez, who have toured extensively all over the world. Paired with an equally talented male singer/lead guitarist, Shawny Star, who can sing anything from Doobie Brothers to Bee Gees to Black-Eyed Peas being backed up by awesome members, Jason Nickel on bass, Steve Marshall on drums, Jojo Palermo on keyboards and Bob Tarr on sax. People from all walks of life rave over their sincere and great personalities on stage. Dubbed as the "Vancouver's Best Party Band", this band keeps the dance floor packed until the last song of the night.
